Sales Department: Summer Intern

Pure Water Systems of Chicagoland is looking to hire Summer Interns to learn how to make a difference in the business world when it comes to providing healthy and pure drinking water and ice for employees. You will learn how to prospect for new business, how to sell to businesses, talk to decision makers and our products. The main duties will be physical cold calling, making phone calls and running sales appointments with our full time Account Executives and Vice President of Sales!

The Perfect Intern would be:

  • 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Graduating from high school soon

Pure Water Systems of Chicagoland is seeking an Account Executive for the Chicago, Illinois area.

Day To Day

The Account Executive position requires a qualified candidate to establish a strong customer base, effectively promote and secure a free trial of Pure Water Systems of Chicagoland product to potential customers, and close new business.

Job Responsibilities
  • Local travel to potential customers.
  • Actively present our company and products to new business.
  • Physically cold call companies within targeted industries.
  • Follow up on company and self generated leads and referrals.
Essential Requirements
  • Self-starter with solid prospecting skills.
  • Energetic, tenacious, and commission driven.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Outside B2B sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; college degree preferred.
We Offer
  • Comprehensive compensation package, including base salary plus commission and bonuses, employer contribution towards medical insurance.

Service Department: Installer/Technician

Job duties include installation of water equipment in business environments, on-site troubleshooting and executing solutions, and maintenance of systems and products while providing professional customer service. The right candidate will exhibit a basic understanding of construction, with electrical and plumbing a plus. Candidate will drive service success with customer satisfaction and retention a priority. Hourly pay plus occasional overtime. Company vehicle, computer, and tools are provided.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Diagnosing errors and technical issues and determining proper solutions
  • Managing all onsite installation, repairs, and maintenance
  • Producing timely and detailed service reports
  • Operating company vehicle in a safe manner and maintaining a clean driving record
  • Exhibiting a pleasant and professional demeanor with customers
  • Working well with technical team and co-workers
Skills & Qualifications
  • Mechanically-inclined, extremely reliable and trustworthy, prompt
  • Comfortable working independently, strong customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills and self-motivation; task oriented
  • Able to meet requirements of the job which may include working in confined spaces, lifting heavy equipment, working in high areas, and bending down frequently
  • Knowledge of the Chicagoland area
